Polishing Off the Blue Steel

First, I need to apologize for not posting up any new blogs for a period of time.  Surprisingly, I spent the better part of my time in airports and getting over jet lag so it’s great to be able to just sit down and hammer out a brand new blog for you all.

Today, I spent the good portion of my morning in an audio suite so I could do a good amount of voiceover work for any upcoming show in China that is destined to send ripples into the entertainment industry, The Amazing Race China Rush.  I had the pleasure of sneaking a peak at some of the footage for the first episode, and I think that this race has all the workings to turn some heads.  Of course, we will all find out for ourselves when it telecasts on Channel ICS (International Channel Shanghai) on August 8, 2010.

In the meantime, I actually had fun getting back in front of the camera to do a photoshoot for the magazine Singapore Women’s Weekly.  Yeah, you are probably wondering why is a dude shooting for a “women’s magazine?”  Well, it just so happened that the publication has a section entitled “Hunk of the Month.”  And since they probably didn’t get who they really wanted, then WU else but moi!

No worries…I’ve seen Zoolander more than a few times so I take my instructions like any decent, hardworking model (for a day!)…

…and after explaining to me the finer points of how to flash and capitalize on the three looks I’ve worked on for years (Blue Steel, Magnum, and Ferrari), I was ready for action!

Sure enough…the shoot was quick and painless.  I am assuming we all had a great time, especially since we were able to wrap it all up so quickly…

…or maybe the editors were more than ready to get rid of me!  But then again, maybe I have created this impression that I can take these lying down…

Now, on a more serious note, I must confess that I have had a few beers so I may come across as a little more than just excited to be blogging again.  Hopefully, this exercise won’t deter you from visiting this website again.

And trust me…if you are not scared or annoyed, then you’ll be in for a treat as I can soon loosen up the reins on some ridiculously “amazing” images of what I’ve been doing and where I’ve been over the past year.
